New 2011 Foals for Sale

MOUSEHOLE MINIATURE SHETLAND PONY STUD

The stud began in 1985 in Sunbury-on-Thames, Middlesex with my first two ponies in a rented field.

Once I had bought New Park Cracker (full brother to New Park Chieftain) I was hooked.

In 1987 we all moved to Hampshire and my little herd grew. We also bought our first brindled Dexter heifer at the rare breeds show in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire. We had three acres of our own and borrowed other fields from local landowners around. There was a lot of driving in those days.

Now we have achieved our goal. We are situated on the southern edge of Dartmoor, in Ogwell near Newton Abbot, South Devon. We are easily accessible from the M5 at Exeter. Our little herd has grown to 21 and have the company of dexter cattle, Dartmoor and Heinz 57 sheep, poultry, cats and dogs and 2 rabbits all spread around 27 acres.

Roans are my favourite colours. We have strawberries, blues, chestnuts, black and bay. All the ponies are registered with the Shetland pony stud-book society, have excellent pedigrees, temperaments and conformation. Ponies are under 32”.

All the mares are wonderful mothers and 3 foals were born in 2009. Two of which are for sale now as I did not get their microchip done before.
